AJ's journey in the roofing industry began at the young age of 17 when he first entered the construction business. Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and a strong work ethic, he apprenticed for a local roofer, learning the trade from the ground up.

After a few years of dedicated work and mastering his skills, AJ was entrusted with leading his own crew. His attention to detail—which he attributes to being "a little OCD"—and commitment to quality quickly earned him a reputation for excellence in the roofing community.

More than 20 years ago, AJ took the bold step of establishing his own business, AJ Kerekes Roofing LLC. Since then, he has built the company on the foundation of integrity, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service.

Today, AJ Kerekes Roofing stands as a testament to AJ's dedication to his craft and his unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality roofing services to homeowners and businesses throughout the region.

Family & Personal Life

When AJ isn’t overseeing roofing projects or meeting with clients, he devotes his time to what matters most—his family. Happily married, AJ is the proud father of four amazing children who bring joy and purpose to his life.

His oldest son, AJ Jr., is learning the family trade and preparing to carry on the business, while Ian has built a successful career in construction. His twin daughters, Lexi and Lily, fill the home with energy and laughter.

In 2022, the family faced a new challenge when Lily was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This experience inspired AJ to become an advocate for diabetes awareness and research, supporting organizations dedicated to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Outside of work, AJ enjoys golfing, admiring fine automobiles, and planning memorable family vacations. Disney is one of their favorite destinations—a place where they create lasting memories together.
